Therapy sessions typically last less than 20 minutes, and most patients feel pain relief with as few as 6 – 10 treatments. It is important to remember, however, that pain subsiding does not infer that your discs and spine are healed, so it's critical that patients stick with the treatment protocol prescribed by their practitioners in order to achieve the full value of DTS Therapy.
DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy is a pain-free alternative that has shown a very high rate of success at reducing or even eliminating back and neck pain. If you suffer from chronic, debilitating, low back or neck pain, you owe it to yourself to call our office today to make an appointment to see if you're a candidate for DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy.
Our office is dedicated to offering the latest, state-of-the-art therapies for treating pain in the low back and neck, sciatica, pinched nerves, and bulging or degenerative disc diseases. We believe DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy to be the most advanced, non-surgical and pain-free alternative.

Patient's Success Guide to
Decompression Traction System (DTS) Therapy
Alomost everyone that has been prescribed DTS has asked nearly the same questions, "How well does this work?" or "Do you really think this will work on me?" The truth is how well you repond is very much up to you. That being the case I have taken the time to give you some pointers on how to increase the likelihood that DTS will work as well for you as it has for others. First off lets go over what you should NOT do.
What NOT To Do
Activity Restrictions:
1. Avoid prolonged sitting; take a break every 30 minutes
2. Avoid prolonged standing for more than 10 minutes at a time
3. Avoid twisting your torso (golf is not permitted during this period!)
4. Avoid prolonged bending, stooping or squatting
5. Avoid lying down in bed without the legs bent. If you lie on your back, put two pillows under your knees. Do not lie on your stomach
6. Avoid jarring activities, especially if they cause pain.
7. Avoid heavy exercise; competitive sports, contact sports, and horseback riding. Walking is permitted and encouraged as exercise during this time period
8. Avoid any lifting activities (less than 10lbs for women and 15 for men)
9. Avoid smoking (It will reduce the oxygen to the discs, which badly need it for repair)
10. Avoid consumption of junk food/fast food.
What To Do
Activity Restrictions:
1. Drink at least one liter of water for every 50lbs of body weight each day.
2. Do walk each day. Try to walk for at least 10 minutes. Swimming is another great way to exercise that won't further injure the discs (no jumping or diving). Please don't over do it. In this case, less is more.
3. Lose weight, if applicable. Our spines were not designed to carry additional weight all day every day.
4. Once pain is gone, do core exercises (abdominal exercises)
5. Make sure you are here for every appointment.
6. Think positive, only concentrate on what is better, not what is still wrong.
7. Get adjusted on each visit.
8. Do the adjunctive therapies on each visit, ice or heat and electric stimulation.
9. Take the time during this therapy to rest. Resting is one of the things that most of us forget to do. Without proper rest, your body will not have the energy it requires to heal your injury.
10. Find the stress in your life and get rid of it or at least identify it and deal with it.
